Item Description

Two generations of absolutely scintillating gemmy uvarovite microcrystals are dramatically festooned on the sculptural chromite ore matrix. The bands of emerald-green and dark green crystals really stand out on this very rich and sparkly piece. Rich and hefty chromite ore at 781 grams or 1.7 pounds mass. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1991, when Former Soviet Union material was becoming available in the West.
