Item Description

Outstanding cluster of Vanadinites from the famous Mibladen mining district in Morocco. The rich, orange-red color is greatly amplified by the superb luster, and the sharp, hexagonal crystals range up to 1.7 cm across. There is very little wear on them, and their excellent condition and aesthetics - very dramatic! This is simply a marvelous miniature. This was recently deaccessed from the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
