Item Description
Outstanding, rich and rare colored large two-sided wavellite specimen from the de Linde Pits of Arkansas. Beautiful, sparkly, translucent, RARE blue-green wavellite botryoids, to about 8 mm, richly and dramatically line sculptural vugs on both sides of the large brecciated matrix. The broken botryoids on the periphery of the vugs reveal the striking, radial, bi-colored growth of the glassy blades, adding interest and contrast. From circa 2010 finds at Avant, and a unique pocket. Valued at $2500 for rare color, quality, richness and size. From the collection of mine owner, James Zigras
