Wulfenite and Dolomite pocket piece

A beautiful and uniquely shaped Wulfenite specimen that hosts a "cave" or "pocket" of Wulfenite! This singular piece has bright yellow Wulfenite crystals that completely line the interior of an elliptical piece of matrix with a hole in the center for the Wulfenites! The Wulfenites climb out of the cave and are perched on the apex and also trickle out the bottom. The Wulfenites are lustrous, translucent and bright yellow with pronounced beveled edges. They range in size from 3 mm to 1.2 cm across. The interior is encrusted almost entirely by smaller Wulfenite crystals with the larger ones more pronounced on the periphery of the "cave" and then to the top and bottom. All of the major crystals are intact as well as the smaller ones. A beautiful, high quality small cabinet piece from the famous Touissit area of Morocco of that came out in the late 1970's to early 80s.
