Wulfenite with Mimetite

This is a large plate of gemmy wulfenite window panes, mixed with mimetite, from one of the most famous of old Arizona localities. It is gorgeous and impactful for the intense orange color saturation, and leaps out to the eye. Such large, rich plates are unusual and valuable, and date to approximately the 1940s, I have been told. The last time this mine operated was from the late 1930s to 1952 or 1953. While not pristine, most crystals in the core are intact. It is a very sparkly, colorful specimen.
