Prehnite on Quartz

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have seen less and less of them over the last few years. This specimen features many fine quality, gemmy to translucent, lustrous, water-green color spherical aggregates of Prehnite measuring up to 1.0 cm, sitting atop gemmy, sparkling, sharp, lustrous colorless Quartz crystal matrix. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a great addition to any Chinese suite. No damage that I can see with the naked eye. Valued at $950.
