Spessartine Garnet is a popular gem / mineral for collectors, due to it's color and attractive crystal form. Here we have a lovely modified dodecahedral crystal of Spessartine with relatively sharp faces and good internal gemminess. A lovely thumbnail specimen and very hard to find on the market these days considering they haven't been mined in about 20 years.
