Prehnite on Quartz

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have seen less and less of them over the last few years. This specimen features many fine quality, gemmy to translucent, lustrous, water-green color spherical aggregates of Prehnite measuring up to 1.1 cm, sitting atop GEM quality, sharp, lustrous colorless Quartz crystal matrix. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a good addition to any Chinese suite. Valued at $800.
