Fluorapophyllite, Stilbite & Chalcedony

Item Description

A striking 5.0 cm cluster of glorious, gem, rich mint-green, tetragonal apophyllite pyramids, to about 2.0 cm, is aesthetically set on the large curved vug in basalt matrix. The vug is lined with coral-like drusy chalcedony nicely accent with scattered stilbite blades. The imposing large stilbite is 3.2 cm. This well-prepared piece is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a bit of acceptable periphery weare. The piece has multiple fine display views. The Deccan Traps of Jalgaon continually amaze with their mineral bounty. Choice large combination material from recent finds.
