Item Description

A dramatically spherical "ball" of nubby, tan siderite crystals from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. Clusters of glassy dolomite rhombs and bright brassy pyrite cubes, some with beautiful iridescence, on one side, the "tail" and the base of the piece are super accessories and add color and contrast. This is a classic and highly desirable combination siderite style from here. Complete all-around, the attachment is at the base. Choice combination material from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection. Dal'negorsk material of this style and quality is very uncommon today, as these came out in the early to mid-1990s.
