Epidote (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

From the Alpine collection of Richard A. Kosnar (the namesake for Kosnarite), here we have an attractive group of very gemmy, lustrous, well-formed, prismatic crystals of Epidote with a pleasing greenish-honey-gold color that will shift slightly depending upon the angle in which they're viewed. The two largest crystals (measuring up to 1.2 cm) are sharp and damage free with very attractive modifying faces. When backlit, you can really see the color come through. Good quality and hard to find on the market from the famous Val di Viu in the Italian Piedmont.
