Item Description

A dramatic, aesthetic, large mounded specimen of jackstraw, strikingly intergrown, glassy translucent gray tabular barite blades from the famous Baia Sprie Mine. The impressive large and pristine crystal is 5.4 cm. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. It's hard to tell, that the upper edge of the large blade was contacted against the vug wall. This fine large and classic for the locale piece has sculptural 360-degree visual appeal. Choice material from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 252.
