Item Description
This is a very aesthetic miniature specimen of medium blue Aquamarine from Brazil. A trio of notably sharp, very lustrous, GEM/gemmy, prismatic hexagonal Aquamarine crystals integrown to create a showy miniature display specimen. All of the terminations are pristine (except one has a tiny contact) and very lustrous on all faces. Before Pakistan, some of the finest gem crystals of Aquamarine came out of Brazil, but they were rarely on matrix. The Brazilian specimens typically were etched and didn't show great crystal form, but THIS piece has amazingly smooth, well-formed faces with high luster and WATER-CLEAR transparency in areas. It's hard to find multiple crystals of Aquamarine intergrown like this from Brazil as well. Weight on the specimen is 5.85 grams. Valued at $850 retail.
