Item Description
The Adams Mine in the San Juans has produced some of the finest North American hubnerites and this is a striking and excellent large example. This fine piece is solid hubnerite and consists of divergent sprays of highly lustrous, mahogany-brown blades. Blades on this fine piece reach a substantial 8.8 cm and this piece has many display possibilities. This historic Colorado locality is featured in the newest Lithographie monograph, The San Juan Triangle of Colorado. Good timing! Ex Cassius L. Tillman, III Collection.
