Description:An excellent and aesthetic, azurite on malachite specimen from the Liufengshan Mine of China. A large scuptural vug filled with sparkling, spherical aggregates of dark azure-blue azurite crystals is beautifully framed by the contrasting banded, botryoidal malachite. Much of the azurite actually has the highly desirable, gemmy, 'electric-blue' under strong light. A bit of bruising is only a modest detraction. This specimen truly resembles classic material from Bisbee, Arizona. Very showy material in this size range. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
