Description:A VERY RARE, old-time, combination specimen from the less well-known Granby Field, near the famed Joplin Field. The crust is covered with lustrous, light brown, cyclically-twinned, cerussite crystals. Clustered on a back corner are beautiful, tiny, lustrous, grass-green, acicular/hexagonal, pyromorphite crystals! A few tiny crystals are noted on the cerussite field. The Beer Cellar Mine is certainly one of the most interesting and unusual mine names from any time or any where! Probably old-time material, but who can be sure, as the piece was in the thumbnail collection of noted collector Evan Jones. A rare combination specimen from this locale.
