Description:Smoky quartz specimens from Peterson Mountain, which includes the noted Hallellujah Junction locale, have become US classics. This large, doubly terminated crystal is partially transparent and has rich smoky color. Some faces have very interesting skeletal features. Complete all-around. The primary termination is contacted, but has only trivial bruising. One lower face is chipped, but is out of sight. This is an imposing and excellent large crystal, that was self-collected by Bill Moller, a noted California collector. He recently passed away.
