Description:Classic 'silver' topaz from the famous Klein Spitzkopje locality in Namibia. This excellent and glassy, pretty light seafoam-green crystal is a significant 91 grams, perfectly gemmy, and well-formed with a textbook, broad chisel termination. All of the crystal faces have very faint, dense, stepped-growth, which adds character. One termination corner has light contacting with trivial bruising. There was some lower wear from the mining process, but the overall beauty has been diminished little by it. Overall, a very good, impressively-sized gemmy topaz. BRIGHTER in person! Old material from the 1980s from the Rolf Wein Collection # 8776.
