An beautiful, colorful and aesthetic gem tanzanite miniature. The gorgeous, water-clear, sharply terminated crystal exhibits classic, textbook diochroism (the base is translucent). The A and B axes are the beautiful, vibrant blue and blue-violet, respectively, indicative of natural unheated state of color (hard to photo). The bit of internal crazing really adds character to this cutie. The basal sidecar crystal has broken ends. This is a wonderful, complete all-around and pristine, untreated tanzanite miniature with textbook colors and sculptural sharp crystal form. 9 grams. Fairly valued at $1250-1500.
