Some of the most well known Jelly Opal in the world comes from Mexico. These stones are among some of the biggest, brightest and most intense color Opals from North America. There has been a surge in the price of fine quality Fire Opal / Jelly Opal from Mexico in the last few years, as the material seems to be more and more difficult to obtain. This "Oval Brilliant" cut gem is a beautiful, soft orange stone with great "jelly" appearance. One slight inclusion can be seen, but it's still a nice little stone for the $10 starting bid.
