Beautiful multi-colored fire opal crowns this fragment of opalized dinosaur bone embedded in claystone matrix on this excellent and rare Australian example of mineralogy and Mesozoic paleontology. The tip has been lightly buffed to bright out the rainbow of colors on this fine specimen from the Ed Swoboda Collection. Valued of such a rarity???
