Description:Specimen of Euxenite from Colorado are not terribly common, and are often only found in old collectiosn. Field collectors do not often find many specimens of Euxenite these days, and rich specimens such as this one are hard to find. This piece shows the typical greasy luster and black color for a Colorado Euxenite sitting on Quartz matrix. The piece is not really crystallized, but it's still a good reference specimen from the Richard A. Kosnar collection, which would make a great addition for any rare-earth mineral collector, or a Colorado species collector.
