Item Description

This particular piece is a good example of the rare antimony oxide, Valentinite (Pronounced: vah-LEN-tin-ite). It features many, sharp, semi lustrous, silvery color (included with micro Galena) prismatic crystals which are sitting on matrix. The largest crystal measures 8 mm The fact that the largest crystal is nearly a full centimeter is great for this locality and the species. A great chance to have a matrix specimen of a very hard to find mineral from one of the most notable localities in Bolivia. Species collectors out there should jump on this one, but worldwide collectors should not pass it up either. We have precious few of these pieces to offer at the moment, and good pieces from Colavi haven't been seen in several years.
