Item Description

A wonderful "Alpine Type" specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, bluish-green prismatic Diopside crystals in a "Faden" growth associated with with small, lustrous, translucent white colored Calcite crytals. Formerly in the collection of Richard A. Kosnar (the namesake for Kosnarite), and this specimen came to him about 15 years ago. I personally have NOT seen many of them on the market in quite some time. A good association specimen from one of the premier "cleft" localities in Pakistan. The piece is in great shape overall. A showy piece of this classic and rarely seen association from Pakistan.
