Xenotime-(Y) (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A hard to find matrix specimen of Xenotime-(Y) from the well-known locality at Zagi Mountain in Pakistan. This piece features lustrous, prismatic, greenish-golden colored crystals of Xenotime-(Y) on a crystallized section of slightly smoky Quartz. More of a reference specimen than anything, but still a hard to find piece for species collectors. Very little is coming out of this locality now, and it's worth picking up if you have an interest in rare earth minerals.
