Amethyst

Item Description

This is a lovely Brazilian Amethyst specimen featuring notably sharp and lustrous stubby hexagonal prisms which have a fine internal purple color that transitions into a softer lilac hue and is essentially white at the base. The matrix is a thin layer of banded Chalcedony / Agate. For some reason, there are two small drill holes on the back of the piece. It's not damage free, but it's a good overall reference specimen of this world-famous material.
