Fluorite

Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet specimen of very pale greenish Fluorite from Madoc. The crystals are cuboctahedral in habit and are nearly 100% water clear when backlit. This is actually an uncommon matrix specimen, as most Fluorites I've seen from this locale are loose singles. The largest crystal measures 3.7 cm on edge. The piece is in great shape from the display side, (only minor contacts near the base) with a separation mark on the back of the biggest crystal. This is classic Madoc material, and a must have for any Fluorite collector. Good quality all around, and better looking in person.
