Item Description

Quartz is easily the most "inclusion friendly" mineral out there. This sharp, prismatic hexagonal crystal features strange inclusions of what I'm told is an Amphibole species. The crystal is almost completely included, but you can see a small area where it is nearly water clear. The inclusion zones show really interesting swirling patterns of soft and warm reddish brown to cream colored hues. Nobody knows for certain which mineral or minerals are present inside the Quartz, but they certainly make for a unique and desirable appearance in what would otherwise be an ordinary Quartz crystal. The termination has a TINY contact, but otherwise, the piece is in great shape. If you collect inclusion minerals, or interesting Quartz specimens, pick this one up, it's one of only a few we have to offer. One of the more interesting and eye-catching examples of this material that we've had to offer in the auctions.
