Item Description

A layer of sugary / drusy white Quartz fills in a vug of massive blue-green Chrysocolla from an undisclosed locality in the Miami-Inspiration District (most likely the Inspiration Mine). Classic material from Arizona, and very attractive up close! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#24). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
