Prehnite (good quality)

Here we have a nice Prehnite specimen from the famous Prospect Park Quarry in New Jersey. It hosts semi botryoidal aggregates with great gemminess and fine "water green" color free of matrix As you can see in one of the closeup photos, the Prehnite spheres have "clamshell"-shaped faces on the sides which make for a really interesting effect. These specimens are highly prized by New Jersey collectors, and are becoming very difficult to obtain these days. Prospect Park is now finished, and will never produce these beautiful specimens again. Enjoy.
