Item Description

Excellent, good sized, very sharp, rather lustrous, beautifully well-crystallized, metallic brassy colored Chalcopyrite with small compressed crystals of Calcite from Yaogangxian. The largest crystal measures 1.3 cm across. I have not seen many specimens with this attractive form and bright shiny crystals recently, and it must be said that fewer and fewer pieces have been coming out of this mine over the last few years, so don't miss out. VERY slight damage, but the great luster and overall appearance make it a nice thumbnail specimen of this material. Hard to photograph, but this is GOOD quality for the species and the locality, so don't miss out.
