Berg Aukus is world-renowned for its extraordinary Descloizite specimens. These pieces have set the standard of excellence for this zinc analogue of Mottramite. It is because of Berg Aukus that we know how good Descloizite crystals can actually get. This piece is filled with many tabular, sharp, lustrous, silvery brown color, layered crystals in a semi-stalactitic / arborescent growth. The largest group measures 4.2 cm long. There is some very slight damage on a few of the crystals, but it is still a notable specimen for its crystal quality. Valued at $950. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5754).
