Item Description

Here we have a beautiful group of gemmy Rubellite Tourmalines with sharp, glassy faces and excellent purplish-cranberry color sittin on white bladed Albite. The largest crystal measures 7 mm long. The main crystal is in excellent shape, but many of the smaller accessory crystals are contacted. From the collection of Rolando Gioia (a contributor to new definitive book on Brazilian minerals: "Minerais e Pedras Preciosas do Brasil").
