Item Description

A beautiful and very hard to find association specimen from the Silica Bell Claim in British Columbia featuring a soft green colored 1.0 cm aggregate of Prehnite composed on "clamshell"-shaped crystals associated with sharp, lustrous, GEMMY, colorless Quartz crystals on matrix. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11330). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
