Some of the best contemporary Aquamarine specimens are those from Erongo. Not only is the quality superb on many of these Aqua specimens, but the associations can make for some really stellar specimens. This piece features a sharp, doubly-terminated, lustrous, gemmy / translucent, RICH blue color Aquamarine crystal associated with minor black Schorl, silvery Muscovite and whitish Feldspar. One end of the Aqua has a solitary smooth basal termination, while the other end has a stepped termination. A great specimen for size, aesthetics and rich color. Valued at $750.
