A gorgeous and scultural small cabinet consisting of sharp, lustrous, black pseudo-octahedral (bipyramdial tetragonal) crystals of Hausmannite on matrix from the famous Kalahari Manganese Fields. This is some of the best Hausmannite in the world, and good pieces like this are not easy to find on the market. Minor reddish colored Andradite Garnet makes for a lovely contrast. More than just a black rock, this is an attractive display specimen of this fairly hard to find manganese oxide. The largest crystal measures 1.1 cm.
