Description:An interesting and rarely seen polished sphere of purple Fluorite from the Korabl Cape in Tersky Bereg, Russia. We purchased this specimen from a good friend in Russia who specializes in lapidary material from Russia. This piece is the only specimen of Fluorite of any kind that we've seen from this area. The sphere is well-polished and show beautiful banded roayl purple and lilac Fluorite intermixed with beautifully contrasting tan host rock matrix. A really cool piece for anybody who collects spheres, Russian minerals or worldwide Fluorites. Specimen weight is 191 grams.
