Item Description

The Jeffrey Mine has produced some of the most distinctive and magnificent quality Garnet crystals extant. These "Cinnamon" Grossular Garnets from Jeffrey are known for their unique orange color, gemminess, top luster and superb "textbook" form. This specimen is features a good quality, sharp, lustrous, pinkish-orange color, gemmy, heavily striated partial dodecahedral crystals of Grossular with minor Vesuvianite and attached matrix. Good condition with a pleasing color, luster and gemminess The piece is valued at $400. This material is no longer being found as the Jeffrey Mine is completely defunct and will not produce these specimens again. Don't miss out on this Canadian classic.
