Item Description

A classic old time specimen of GEM quality Gypsum (var: "Selenite") from the famous locality at Santa Eulalia. A sharp, lustrous, GEM quality, colorless prismatic "sword"-shaped crystal of Gypsum / Selenite free of matrix. The piece is almost completely undamged, and very showy and attractive, and dates back around 40-50 years ago. A gorgeous example of the species, and a wonderful piece for the locality.
