Well-placed "corsages" of bladed barite are striking accessories to this impressive large color-zoned fluorite cube from the famous Elmwood Mine. The pretty lilac colored translucent cube has sharp darker phantoms beneath the striking silky luster stepped-growth faces. A bit of sphalerite is noted at the attachment on the back. The fluorite is essentially pristine and the bit of bruising to the barite on the top is certainly only a modest detraction. Rich purple fluorescence. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Classic and excellent Elmwood fluorite and barite with fine color.
