Item Description
Classic and showy quartz from this historic quartz crystal deposit, known since 1825 (MINDAT). Aesthetically intergrown sharply terminated crystals have coated creamy terminations above the colorless, tranlucent milky quartz interiors. The nubby skeletal face on the large crystal adds striking pizzazz to this 360-degree classic. The noted contacting on the sides is certainly acceptable in the context of this uncommon style, highly representative example from an East Coast collection.
