Item Description

A fanciful, colorful and sculptural combination from Jalgaon. Two diametrically opposing luscious mint-green apophyllite crystals are dramatically set on the striking intergrown cluster of white wormy chalcedony stalactites. The fabulous 3.7 cm protruding crystal has a glorious tetragonal, pyramidal gem termination. The flat lying crystal is 4.5 cm long. The partial 1.8 cm frosted calcite rhomb on the back side is a nice accent. All of the tips and the end of the stalactites were contacted against the vug walls, but this remains a striking and most artistic example of this combination varietal from the Ted Bartels Collection.
