Rhodochrosite on Quartz (RARE Colorado - illustrated) ex Logan

Mineral specimens of ANY type are very rare from the most obscure San Juan County Mine. This elegant and adorable combination features scattered clusters of tiny, flattened, pastel-pink rhodochrsoite rhombs attached to both sides of a very aesthetic pristine floater cluster of intergrown quartz crystals. The large compound crystal is highlighted by a reverse scepter at one end! Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X 90-7 and illustrated on Page 80 of his 2013 self-published book, Rhodochrosite - Crystals of Drama and Nuance (available by request). RARE, perhaps UNIQUE combination material from this Colorado mine. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
