A rich and impressive large azurite from this well-known Chinese mine. Two generations of sparkly azurite fill the sculptural vug in azurite, malachite and gossan matrix. The upper half of the vug has navy-blue azurite, while the lower half is lined with azure-blue microcrystals. The artistic form of the piece and composition of the vug are noteworthy. Both crystal types GLOW with electric-blue color under bright light. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $175, for free.
