Item Description

Classic and aesthetic calcite and galena from the famous Sweetwater Mine. A sculptural cluster of glassy, translucent, bi-colored nailhead spar calcite crystals nicely frames the two sharp, splendent metallic galena cubes, to 1.7 cm. The calcites have vanilla-yellow bodies and interesting gemmy, colorless terminations. The prominent central calcite is 3.8 cm and is doubly terminated. Pink fluorescence. An excellent, highly representative combination small cabinet example from the noted locale.
