A very sculptural, 3-dimensional large solid rhodochrosite crust from the famed extinct Eagle Mine at Gilman. Nubby aggregates of tiny pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs comprise this dramatic specimen. This is a very uncommon rhodo style from here, as most pieces have flattened, disk-like rhombs. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X20-5 and illustrated on Page 79 of his 2013 self-published book, Rhodochrosite - Crystals of Drama and Nuance (available by request).
