Classic, sculptural, rare and impressive large matrix calcite from this famous Indiana limestone quarry. Typically rounded large complex rhombs are transparent to translucent and have bright satin lustre faces. This calcites on this striking, RARE, 3-dimensional specimen are richly included with sharp, brassy, platy feather-like marcasite crystals. The prominent, striking, compound crystal cluster is 4.3 cm across. Amazingly, this striking piece appears to be a pristine, 360-degree floater specimen. Ex Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection.
