Item Description

Ferroan Magnesite variety Breunnerite is RARE from this less well-known area of the famous Ziller Valley. It has a Mg:Fe atomic ratio ranging from 90:10 to 70:30 and was originally reported from several Austrian localites (MINDAT). Moderately lustrous, sharp, jet-black rhombs, to 2.5 cm, are dramatically and richly scattered on the striking, large, sculptural 3-dimensional sawed matrix of talc schist. The rhombs are physically extracted from the enclosing schist. A fantastic looking, very rich and rare large Austrian magnesite specimen. Value??
