Item Description

A RARE and superb 360-degree small cabinet combination from famed Santa Eulalia and the Jason New Mexico Collection. Muscovite is known from the San Antonio Mine, but specimens of this richness and aesthetic combination with arsenopyrite and quartz are EXTREMELY RARE. A fantastic, sharp, silver-metallic, 2.5 cm, tapered arsenopyrite crystal with a jagged shark's teeth termination, striated faces and beautiful subtle iridescence dominates the mounded piece. Glassy quartz points and another super arsenopyrite crystal at the crest, plus the numerous rare rosettes of lustrous, translucent, yellow-green muscovite plates and more arsenopyrites make for a stunning 360-degree specimen. The base has been sawed to enhance the outstanding display quality of this combination rarity. Every turn presents distinctly different perspective to this outstanding combination. Valued at $800-1000 and worth it for combination rarity and very high quality. A MUST for the species or locality collector! See the Mineralogical Record Santa Eulalia Special Issue, January-February, 2018, Vol. 49, No. 1.
