A fine large plate of sharp snow-white K-feldspar variety Adularia variety Valencianite crystals, from the classic Guanajuato silver mine, where it was first described. Preferential clusters of glassy quartz points are richly scattered about, adding pizzazz, as do scattered tiny etched purple amethyst crystals, a RARE accessory. The oxide tinting on the right side adds more color and character to this rich specimen. Classic and excellent older material from this famous mine. Now rare on the market, these were found in the 1980s. Valued at $250 by the former dealer.
